Digital Artist Backpack by Jorec Digital Artist Backpack by Jorec
Tis is the dA proDigital Backpack I got for Christmas. It had plenty of space to fit my Laptop, Wacom, stationary, iPod and keys. I love this backback because it is the perfect size for my Samsung R730 Laptop and all the pockets are idealy sized to fit necessary squipment for drawing.

Do the straps/back have any airflow at all? I would love this bag but if it just becomes a sweaty mess....

Not really... That is one downside.

You don't think you could put 2 laptops (mac book pros?) and a tablet (large Wacom...) in it, could you?

How thick is a MacBook Pro? (The one you have, is it the newest one? Or an older model?) My laptop is snugly inside at 1.5in/3.5cm.

Also, which Wacom? The Bamboo large, or the Intuos?

Intuos.

And its the newest version of pro, but im thinking only one would fit :P it would have to be an air or something to get two in... yea?

overall, do you like it?

Thanks for the reply :)

You could get two Airs in.

And I do like it.

Just out of curiosity, is there a reason you'd carry two laptops, or are you just asking hypothetically?

Do you think it would hold this? [link]
And would it hold the power supply as well? My battery life sucks too bad to not keep it plugged in xD

I don't think it will. My laptop is pretty much the maximum, and your laptop is even bigger than mine!

But don't give up hope! Try this: [link]

I really like this backpack and just bought it. It looks better than the one I currently have, an enormous one, and will force me to stop carrying lots of unnecessary stuff around since it doesn't have lots of space, but what I believe is enough to carry what I need.

Can it fit a laptop AND a couple of sketchbooks? (I'm talking A4 sketchbooks, maybe alittle bigger than A4) and then a pencil case or two..
Thinking of getting this bag for art college.. Not quite sure if it'll be able to hold everything though D:
I'd be grateful if you could get back to me soon! :) It's on free delivery for only 3 days :o

So sorry! I've been away!

You should be able to fit all of that in, provided your laptop isn't too fat.

Yayy :D thank you!! ^^
It's been ordered >:3
& I think it's really awesome you took the time and effort to take photos and answer people's questions about the bag, since DeviantArt doesn't give much information on the item.. Or don't really show enough of it :P
Thanks again!!

I saw that your tablet fits in there but mine is a medium sized intuos 5. Would it be able to fit in there with my computer? Also, would they be in seperate pouches or the same one?

It will fit, but there are lots of pockets, so you can choose whether or not to put them in the same pocket.

Hey bruv, I'm not sure if it's too much to ask, but the DA description does tell me exactly what im curious about.
1. How many pouches are there.
2.In the largest Pouch(I assume the one you keep your big notebooks in, what are the dimensions?
Reply
:iconjorec:
Jorec Featured By Owner Dec 1, 2012  Student Photographer
1. There are 11 pouches, but 12 if you include the pouch for a rain cover.
2. The largest pocket is the some you put the laptop in, and is 11" x 17", and is around 1.5 inches deep. There is another pocket of the same size, but not the same depth (it's WAY thinner.)

Hello! The bad does a good protection for the laptop?

I have a G75 laptop (4,5kg), so I want to know if he'll protect and if it is so heavy for the bad.

Thanks!

My laptop too is pretty heavy, and there is good padding in the bag, but no rigid support.

is the grey cover with the deviantart logo what you see from the back? cuz in the original photo the back is plain black...

The grey cover is a reversible flap, so it can be unclipped and swapped the other way around, depending if you want a grey or black bag.

I'm a little curious about something! Does the tablet pocket have at least one side that's stiff, or some way to keep it from being struck by something and bent?
Reply
:iconjorec:
Jorec Featured By Owner Oct 7, 2012  Student Photographer
The pocket adjoins to the laptop section, so provided there's a laptop in the bag, it should stay flat against that. If not, the laptop pocket is very well padded, but the bag itself has no 'hard' material in it.

I'm not sure if you would know, but my laptop screen is about 17.5" diagonally, and about 16.5"x11" in measurement. Any idea if it would fit? I'm having a hard time finding anything practical to carry it in, that also has protection and room for tablets and sketchbooks.
